Siberian Huskies can be known as sled dogs. The definition of sled dogs from http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/sled+dogs, it says– noun a dog trained to pull a sled, usually working in a team. Sled dogs have lived for a long time. Today they are still drivers for people in the arctic, and a lot of the population of sled dogs are in races. Their offspring were well-adapted to the cold and snow, so that's why the siberian huskies are known as sled dogs. The sled dogs could compete in races about 1,000 miles long. The races started in 1908; the race was a 408-mile long race. It started in Nome, went to Candle, and went back. Sled dogs are animals that are usually known as Siberian Huskies.
